Dunbar Grammar School

All in all an interesting week.  It’s been a busy week with the beginning of the second diet of S4 Prelims. 

Monday to Wednesday got off to a more predictable start with attention given to admin, observation and the preparation of documents for our forthcoming developments. 

There was a purposeful air about the school as we all returned to work. 

The last week of term has arrived but still so much to do! 

Monday got off to a hectic start with more SELS questionnaires followed by a meeting with D, Ledingham and the SMT to discuss our long-term plans to improve and sustain attainment and achievement. 

As we move into the final month of term we summon up the strength to finish off the work, assessments and planning. 

An action-packed week!  On Monday K. Robertson joined the SMT for our meeting and the PT’s for the briefing. 

The week got off to a calm start with the usual mixture of meetings and admin, the one exception being that S4 are on work experience so I did not have my S4 French class. 

Sorry for the delay in posting last week’s blog.  We now have a team of students and staff looking at our website with a view to making it more interactive and attractive. 

After a busy end to the end of the previous week, I was looking forward to catching up with admin, communications and my classroom observations.-Chance would be a fine thing!
